Only one witness testified for the defense today at Michael Rafferty's murder trial, but it was a stunning piece of testimony. The woman, who is not being named under a court order is a grandmother who testified to picking up her grandchildren from Oliver Stephens Public School on April 8th, 2009. The woman says she saw a woman matching the description of Terri-Lynne McClintic, with a white puffy coat, walking out of the school with Tori Stafford. She says the white jacketed woman came out of school door near where the teachers were putting kids on the buses. She says it was a woman she had never seen before at the school and that it was a warm day and seeing the puffy white coat "struck me as odd". The woman says she reviewed the surveillance video from CASS and says she was "very confident" the woman in the video is the woman she was describing to police. She also said she was "not happy" to be testifying for the defense. That finished the defense's case, as Michael Rafferty will not be testifying in his own defense. Legal arguments are being held now. Heart FM's Blair Wilson will have more details later this evening.
