THAMESFORD - A 26 year old man from Thames Centre is facing a number of charges after crashing his dirt bike in Thamesford.
Oxford OPP were called after getting word of the off road vehicle slamming into a hydro pole on Saturday night near the corner of Dundas and Stanley Street.
After investigating police charged the driver of the bike Christopher Geldhart with driving with more than 80 mgs of alcohol in blood, drive while under suspension, drive motor vehicle with no licence, unlawfully drive off road vehicle on highway, and operate a motor vehicle with no insurance.
Geldhart will appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Woodstock on May 5th to answer to his charges.
