NORFOLK COUNTY - A four year old girl suffered serious injuries to her face while trick or treating in Norfolk County.
Police say the girl was bitten by an English Bulldog on Wednesday night. The girl was trick or treating in Port Dover when the dog inside the home ran from the front door and jumped on her causing a serious non life threatening injury to her face. It appears that the claws on the dog caused the injury to the child's facial area.
The girl was taken to a local area hospital and later transferred to a Hamilton hospital for further treatment.
The Haldimand-Norfolk Health Unit has been notified and the dog has be quarantined for the next 10 days.
