INGERSOLL - Southwestern Public Health is investigating a dog biting incident in the Town of Ingersoll.
The bite happened on Harris Street near David Street on Tuesday morning around 10:45 am. The dog and the owner are both unknown
The dog is described as a large dog, possibly poodle mix. Dark brown. Shaved body with curly hair on head. The owner is a woman around 35-40 years of age, around 5'8 with long light brown/blond hair. She was wearing a knee length tan coat.
Southwestern Public Health seeks information about this dog to assess the risk of exposure to the rabies virus. Otherwise the victim may have to go through series of rabies shots.
