A 24 year old man is charged in Brant County after police discover a property had been broke into and a dog ended up dead.
BRANT COUNTY - Police laid charges after the discovery of what appears to be a break and enter gone wrong resulting in the death of a German Shepherd dog.
OPP went out to a Scotland address around 8:00 a.m. on November 15th after receiving a call about a dog found dead.
Police then went to a residence on Simcoe Street also in Scotland and realized that it has been broken into.
After investigating, Police located and arrested 24 year old Gaia Massyler of Brant County and slapped him with a laundry list of charges, including; Break and Enter as well as Cruelty to Animals and Mischief to Property under $5000.
He will appear in court at a later date to answer to the charges.
