The rescue is dealing with five orphaned cat litters, plus four mother cats with litters of their own.
OXFORD COUNTY - The Oxford County Animal Rescue is bursting at the seams.
Director Anna Holmes says they recently took in five orphaned cat litters. This is on top of the four mother cats with litters that they already have in their foster system.
"It is a lot of mouths and that means we are going through a lot of food. Mommas are hungry so they need to have all of the nutrients in the food so they can feed their babies."
Holmes says the rescue is in need of donations of cash or Iams and Kitten Chow cat and kitten food.
"They can either come into our office (789 Dundas Street, Woodstock) during our regular hours with the donations. We also have a Canada Helps link on our website if they want to donate so we can go out and purchase it."
You can also donate at the PetSmart in Woodstock or the PetValu in Ingersoll.
