Select businesses in downtown Woodstock will be offering special deals and unique menu items this Thursday night and on Thursday December 15th.
WOODSTOCK - The Downtown Woodstock Shopping Night is returning for the holiday season.
After the great success of the previous Woodstock Shopping Nights earlier this year, Woodstock's downtown vendors are bringing the event back this Thursday December 4th, and Thursday December 15th.
From 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. participating businesses downtown will be offering special deals and unique menu items.
The owner of FAIR/SQUARE on Dundas Street, Katharina Otulak says, these events are designed to bring in new customers after a difficult summer and fall caused by economic downturns.
"We love our customers that come in regularly, but these events are really there to get people out that haven't been to our downtown lately, and to rediscover our stores and see what we have to offer."
The original events were held at the beginning of this year coming out of lockdowns when Otulak thought it would be a great time to give people an opportunity to shop in person again.
Otulak says the events are focused on giving small businesses run by local families support from the community.
"We would all love to still be here this time next year."
