Brampton man charged in Highway 401 collision
A 32 year old Brampton man is facing charges following a collision on Highway 401 Monday.
Just after eight yesterday morning a jack knifed tractor trailer stuck the centre median sending debris into the westbound traffic lanes of Highway 401 between Putnam Road and Culloden Line.
Traffic in the area was diverted for several hours as crews worked to clean up a diesel fuel spill.
As a result, Amrinder Singh Hayer has been charged with careless driving.
