A building alarm alerted OPP to alleged drug activity
BURFORD - An alarm call has ended with an Oxford County woman facing drug charges.
According to Brant OPP, they received an alarm call at a Rutherford Street, Burford building before three Wednesday morning.
Once officers were inside, they say they noticed suspicious drug activity in the building.
As a result, 56 year old Cheryl MacLellan of Oxford is facing a charge of Produce a Schedule II Substance (other than marihuana).
She will appear in a Brantford courtroom in August to answer to the charge.
