A man and woman from Tillsonburg after a Controlled Drug and Substance Act (CDSA) search warrant was executed at a home on Broadway Street. A quantity of suspected fentanyl was seized along with suspected stolen property, including a weapon.
TILLSONBURG- Two people from Tillsonburg were arrested following a Controlled Drug and Substance Act (CDSA) search warrant at a home in Tillsonburg.
The Oxford County Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) were at a home on Broadway Street yesterday morning after 6:30, seizing a quantity of suspected fentanyl, along with other suspected stolen property including a weapon.
They were assisted by the West Region Emergency Response Team (ERT) of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP).
Two individuals were arrested at the scene and taken into custody.
32-year-old Derek D'Arcy was charged with the following offences:
- Possession of Firearm or Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order
- Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking
21-year-old Amber Murphy was charged with the following offences:
- Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking
Both of them will appear in a Woodstock courtroom at a later date.
