The K9 Unit was deployed in an effort to locate two armed suspects who stole cash and tobacco from a convenience store.
BLANDFORD-BLENHEIM - Police are investigating an armed robbery at a convenience store in Drumbo over the weekend.
Authorities say two suspects entered the store around 6:15 p.m. yesterday, one of the suspects was carrying a weapon. The suspects fled the scene before police arrived. They got away with an undisclosed amount of cash and tobacco products.
Members of the West Region Emergency Response Team and the WR Canine Unit (K9) were sent out search the area.
The Oxford County Crime Unit and the OPP Forensic Identification Services continue to investigate the robbery.
Thankfully, the employee of the store was not injured in the incident.
