Dundas Street Closed Due to Flooding

Woodstock Police have forced to close Dundas Street today, due to flooding on the road. As a result, Dundas is closed between Bexley Street and the 11th Line. Police say flooding near the CPR overpass has made conditions dangerous so detours have been put in place until the waters have receded. However, the signs haven't stopped some drivers from still trying to venture through the flooded roadway. Woodstock Police Constable Steve McEwen says those drivers have been ticketed. "The total fine payable for that is $110. We just ask that everybody obey the sign, and when the road is passable, we'll remove the signs and let everyone through." A police cruiser is keeping watch on the area. There is no estimated time for the reopening of the road. There's also some significant flooding in Southside Park (photos below) that has closed Geoghegan's Way entering the park off of Finkle St.
