ONTARIO - About 55,000 education workers will soon be in a legal strike position in Ontario.
The Canadian Union of Public Employees says the custodians, early childhood educators, and administration staff will be in a legal strike position on November 3rd if a deal is not reached with the province before then.
The union has not indicated if the workers would engage in a full strike or start a work to rule campaign.
A conciliator's report kicked off the strike action countdown yesterday and the two sides will meet at the mediated bargaining table again today.
