Environment Canada Releases Halloween Forecast

Environment Canada meteorologist Gerald Cheng is not guaranteeing that we'll have dry weather for Halloween on Monday.

OXFORD - It's trick-or-treating season in Oxford County.

In late October, it's always hard to know exactly what we might get for weather.

Environment Canada meteorologist Gerald Cheng shares what we can expect for Halloween on Monday.

"When we are looking at the Halloween weather, right now there seems to be a disturbance that will be moving through the area, so unfortunately I may not be able to promise dry weather."

However, Cheng says the temperatures are something we can expect from this time of year.

"Our seasonal high should be around 11 degrees and right now what we are looking at in terms of temperatures is that it will be around 12 or 13 degrees, so you might still need a light jacket underneath a costume."

He also gave some insight on what the rest of fall may look like, saying that you should expect slightly warmer than average temperatures, although cold periods and snow can come at any point.
