The Woodstock Fire Department is sending out a warning about a recalled fireplace. They forwarded a release from the Ontario Fire Marshall's Office, that is recalling a model of Majestic direct vent gas fireplaces. Six incidents have been reported where delayed ignition occurred, blowing out the glass viewing pane. There have been some injuries involved. Model series FSDV22, FSDV30 and FSDV32 have been recalled by the Technical Safety Standards Authority. You can find more details on the recall here.
