Fail to Stop

An Oxford County teen is facing a slew of charges after a vehicle did not immediately stop for police

NORFOLK COUNTY - A 19 year old Oxford County woman is facing charges after trying to run from police. 

According to Norfolk OPP, officers noticed a vehicle heading westbound on South Court Street East which drew their attention. When police activated their emergency equipment, OPP say the vehicle didn't stop until it hit Second Road and Base Line. It was then that officers said the female passenger ran from the vehicle. 
 
21 year old William James Lindsay of Norfolk is facing 
 

·         Flight while pursued by Peace Officer

·         Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000

·         Possession of Marihuana

·         Fail to comply with probation order X2

 
19 year old Madison Lila Franklin-Biddle of Oxford County is facing 
 

·         Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000

·         Possession of Marihuana

·         Possession of Cannabis resin

·         Fail to comply with Probation Order

 
Both will appear in court at a later date to answer to the charges.
