Stratford Police warning the public about a man impersonating an officer and pulling over vehicles and telling them it is related to the recent Stay-At-Home orders.
STRATFORD - Stratford Police are warning the public about a man impersonating an officer during traffic stops.
Police say the man was driving a car that looks like a cruiser with a flashing red and lights. He stopped two people to question them about the Stay at Home Order.
The first incident happened on Saturday on Perth Line 20. The second was last night in Huron County.
The man identified himself as "Brady Kale" in the second incident. It's immediately clear if it is the same person.
The suspect is described as white, in his late 20's or early 30's. He is about 6'0 with an average build, short hair that was covered by a black short sleeve shirt, with no patches on the shirt and black pants. A silver plastic badge was pinned to the right side of his
chest, and he was wearing a utility belt, with what appeared to be a handgun inside of a holster.
The vehicle involved is described as a 2017-2021 black Dodge Charger with dark tinted windows. It has matte black rims, no markings, no push bar, lights on the roof and small circular lights on the dash.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Stratford Police or Crime Stoppers.
