INGERSOLL - Royal Roades Public School is hosting a Family Fun Day.
The event will be taking place tomorrow from 10 until 3, and will have many activities for everyone to enjoy. Organizer, Jasmyne MacDonell says why this event is taking place.
"Well, to raise funds for our school, classroom and outdoor enhancements, things like nanobots, beef up the classroom, libraries, all sorts of consumables that just go throughout the year."
Organizer, Sarah Allen says you don't have to be a part of the school to join in on the fun.
"We really want the whole community to come out and support us. We have parking around on the all on the main streets and everything."
Allen adds what kind of activities you will be able to enjoy during the day.
"We have a whole slew of things that are going on, so we're going to have food trucks, touch a truck with a fire truck, and an ambulance. We have racing Grayson coming out till 12:30 with his race car. The water depot is coming out to run a hydration station. Yard Party rentals will have a concession stand. We'll have a whole slew of free games for families. There's a few pay for play games. We're going to egg our eggucators, the Ingersoll public libraries coming out and putting on a mobile library. We have a photo booth, a cakewalk. Abby Vollmer-Housen is doing face painting. We have a almost 200 item silent auction and a vendor sale. "
It is a cash only event, so make sure to have your money ready to help the staff and students of Royal Roades Public School, and have lots of fun.
