A woman has died after a fatal crash involving a dump truck in Zorra Township
ZORRA - A woman has died after a two vehicle crash in Zorra Township.
OPP, EMS, and Zorra Township Fire responded to the scene of the collision at 31st Line and Road 74 yesterday afternoon around 1:40 p.m. Police believe the Hyundai SUV was travelling eastbound on Road 74 was it was hit by a dual tandem dump truck travelling north on 31st Line. Both vehicles careened off the roadway - the SUV then struck a hydro pole.
The woman driving the SUV died at the scene of the crash. The dump truck driver was treated for minor injuries at a local hospital.
Investigators are still searching for a cause.
