OPP have closed the 401 westbound after early morning crash.

THAMES CENTRE -- Middlesex OPP have closed the westbound 401 at Dorchester Road following a fatal collision.
Police say around 6:15 am, a transport and car collided just west of Dorchester Road. As a result of the crash, one person was killed.
Traffic is being redirected off of the westbound lanes at Dorchester Road. Police say they are in the preliminary stages of their investigation and the highway will be closed for a number of hours.
Motorists are being advised to try an alternate route this morning.
