The Federal Government is expected to announce new travel restrictions today according to several media outlets.
Canadians will be discouraged from heading abroad over the holidays for all non essential travel. This is similar to what was implemented in March 2020.
Another measure on the table is having all visitors returning to Canada to be tested for COVID-19 prior to arrival. Right now fully vaccinated Canadians do not need to be tested if their trip is shorter than 72 hours.
