You have until 8:00 p.m. to cast your ballot in the 2026 municipal election.
OXFORD - Election day has arrived in Oxford County!
Lots of people will cast their ballots today to determine who will serve on their local municipal council for the next four years.
Those living in Tillsonburg, East Zorra-Tavistock, Zorra Township, South-West Oxford, and Blandford-Blenheim have to vote online or over the phone. Those areas will have voter assistance centres for the people who need help casting their ballot.
Online voting closed for Woodstock voters last night, but there will be several in person polling stations located throughout the city today. They will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Goff Hall, Algonquin Public School, Cowan Sportsplex, and Unifor Hall.
Norwich Township will also have a polling station open in each ward from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.. Those in Ward 1 will vote at the Springford Community Hall, Ward 2 residents will head to Norwich Community Centre, residents in Ward 3 will cast their ballot at the Heritage Reformed Congregation in Burgessville, and Ward 4 residents will vote at the Oxford Centre Community Hall.
The Town of Ingersoll has been utilizing mail-in ballots for this election. Those who have not voted yet can drop their ballot off at Town Hall today.
All of the polls will close at 8:00 p.m. this evening.
