You can expect to see more and more RIDE programs over the holiday season.
The West Region OPP officially kicked off the Festive RIDE campaign today.
You can expect to see more and more RIDE programs over the holiday season. Citizens have really stepped up to help police this year, placing more than 21,000 calls to the OPP to report suspected impaired drivers.
Already this year, 29 people have died and many others have suffered serious injuries thanks to impaired drivers on our roadways.
The last thing that YOU need is a knock on your door telling you that your loved one is dead or injured as a result of an #ImpairedDriver! The #OPP kicked off #FestiveRide and will be targeting drivers under the influence of alcohol and drugs.@maddcanada #NorfolkOPP ^es pic.twitter.com/94dmuyydVb
