NORFOLK COUNTY - Norfolk OPP have made another arrest after a home invasion at a legal marijuana grow operation.
On October 28th, several suspects entered the grow operation with weapons, tying up the occupants and stealing several marijuana plants.
Four men were arrested while the fleeing the scene.
On Thursday police executed a search warrant at another suspects home in New Market.
They arrested 30 year old Christopher John Gismondi. He is facing the following charges.
- Hostage taking using firearm (three counts)
- Break and enter
- Possession of loaded, prohibited or restricted firearm (two counts)
- Disguise with intent
- Robbery with firearm
- Unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm (two counts)
- Possession of weapon for dangerous purpose (two counts)
- Firearm - Use while committing an offence (two counts)
- Possession of prohibited device or ammunition for dangerous purpose
- Forcible confinement
- Pointing a firearm
- Assault with a weapon
- Assault causing bodily harm
- Disobeying court order
Gismondi is the 5th person charged in the home invasion. The other four were arrested two weeks ago.

NORFOLK COUNTY - Norfolk OPP are investigating after a legal grow operation on Highway 3 was robbed at gun point.
Police say several unknown armed suspects with handguns broke into the home on Thursday. The occupants of the home were restrained and suffered minor injuries from the incident.
The robbers stole marijuana from the home and placed it in a vehicle that was parked on the driveway. Officers arrived while the thieves were still at the location and several suspects fled on foot. A black coloured vehicle also fled from the area at a high rate of speed.
Canine Officers along with the Tactics and Rescue Unit arrested four men who are currently in custody.
Highway 3 between Schafer Side Road and Highway 59 was closed for approximately 8 hours as officer's searched for the outstanding suspects.

- Unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm
- Possession of weapon for dangerous purpose
- Firearm - Use while committing an offence
- Forcible confinement
- Point a firearm
- Assault with a weapon
- Assault causing bodily harm
Charged with the following offences is 19-year-old Traequon Mahoney of Brampton, Ontario:
- Break and enter
- Disguise with intent
- Robbery with firearm
- Unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm
- Possession of weapon for dangerous purpose
- Firearm - Use while committing an offence
- Forcible confinement
- Point a firearm
- Assault with a weapon
- Assault causing bodily harm
Charged with the following offences is 23-year-old Mahadale Mahadale of Toronto, Ontario:
- Break and enter
- Disguise with intent
- Robbery with firearm
- Unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm
- Possession of weapon for dangerous purpose
- Firearm - Use while committing an offence
- Forcible confinement
- Possession of firearm or ammunition contrary to prohibition order
- Point a firearm
- Assault with a weapon
- Assault causing bodily harm
Charged with the following offences is 26-year-old Khalid Galeal Ramadan of Thornhill, Ontario:
- Break and enter
- Disguise with intent
- Robbery with firearm
- Unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm
- Possession of weapon for dangerous purpose
- Firearm - Use while committing an offence
- Forcible confinement
- Point a firearm
- Assault with a weapon
- Assault causing bodily harm
- Fail to comply with recognizance
