MOUNT ELGIN - Tickets are now on sale for the Kiwanis Club of Ingersoll's Winter Gala.
The dinner and dance will take over the Oxford Hills in Mount Elgin on Saturday November 19th.
The meal will be catered by KALOS Restaurant and the live music will be provided by Mario on the Keys and Soul Tripper.
Past President Sam Horton says a portion of the proceeds will be going to the Thames Valley Children's Centre, which is part of the London Health Sciences Centre.
"The Kiwanis Club of Ingersoll has been involved with the Thames Valley Children's Centre for well over 25 years now and we've provided nearly a quarter of a million dollars for that program assisting children that have disabilities that they are working through."
Horton says the rest of the money will be going to the Fusion Youth Centre in Ingersoll and Easter Seals Camp Woodeden in London.
"Children from all over Oxford County including Ingersoll, Woodstock and Tillsonburg attend these camps and that's why we want to ensure that we're inclusive."
Tickets for the Winter Gala cost $150 each and they can be purchased online here. Those interested in attending the event can also call Horton at 226-228-4630 or Jane Cole at 519-902-5999. Cole sits on the Ingersoll Kiwanis Club Board of Directors.
A total of 200 tickets have been printed for the Winter Gala and over 100 tickets had already been sold as of Tuesday October 10th.
