A student led fitness routine at Eastdale Public School in Woodstock has received a $3000 funding grant to continue the program.
WOODSTOCK - Eastdale Public School students in Woodstock are on their way to a healthier lifestyle. That's thanks to a $3000 grant from the GoodLife Kids Foundation, which they received Friday morning. The money is in support of Fitness Friday Group -- a program run by students, for students. Educational Assistant Sheila Picknell says the funding will truly benefit the daily quality and physical well-being of the student body.
The program gives intermediate students the opportunity to create and lead a fitness routine for their junior peers.
