Flood Warnings Downgraded

Brant County and North Dumries have been downgraded to a flood watch, while Brantford and Cambridge remain under a warning.

A flood warning remains in place for parts of Grand River Watershed and Eramosa River.

Brant County and North Dumries have been downgraded to a flood watch, while Brantford and Cambridge remain under a warning.

Small ice jams remain in place along the Eramosa River, affecting residents in those areas. A small amount of ice remains in the river channel south of Brantford, but is not impeding river flow. Caution is urged around all local waterways due to river flows that are much higher than normal. With some additional rainfall in the forecast, rivers will remain very high well into next week.

Meanwhile The Long Point Region Conservation Authority has terminated their flood warning for the entire Long Point Region.
