ONTARIO - It looks like a vaccine passport system is about to be implemented in Ontario.
According to a report in the Toronto Sun, the Ford Government is expected to unveil the two-step plan sometime this afternoon.
It states that as of September 22nd, you will need provide proof of vaccination for restaurants, bars, gyms and other indoor settings where masks cannot be worn for the duration of the visit.
For the first month, your proof of vaccination would be the receipt you received after your second dose plus another piece of government identification, such as a drivers license.
The Toronto Sun states this would only be temporary, as the province is planning to introduce a smartphone app for step-two of the plan.
We will provide more information on this as it becomes available.
