ONTARIO - Premier Doug Ford is about to provide an update in regards the province's COVID-19 vaccination plan.
A virtual press conference is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. this morning. Ford will be joined by Deputy Premier/Health Minister Christine Elliott and Solicitor General Sylvia Jones.
Few details have been released but there are reports that this announcement could provide further information regarding second doses. The province is currently inoculating residents four months apart with a handful of exceptions.
The Ford Government also announced last week that it will be moving forward with second doses of the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine. The province is no longer administering first doses of the vaccine due to concerns about a rare blood clot disorder.
We will be covering this announcement and will provide more information as it becomes available.
