The swearing in ceremony for Premier Doug Ford and his new cabinet will take place at 11:15 a.m. today.
ONTARIO - Premier Doug Ford is set to announce his new cabinet today.
This means he will be announcing a new Deputy Premier and Health Minister, because Christine Elliott decided to not run for re-election in her riding of Newmarket-Aurora. That seat is now being held by Dawn Gallagher Murphy, a fellow Progressive Conservative party member.
The next Health Minister will oversee billions of dollars in new hospital projects and lead the province through the remainder of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The swearing in ceremony will take place in Queens Park at 11:15 a.m. today.
