Freezing Rain and Strong Winds Spark Special Weather Statement

Environment Canada says we're in for freezing rain tomorrow along with wind gusts between 70 and 80 kilometres per hour.

OXFORD/BRANT - We're about to get some freezing rain in the Friendly City.

Environment Canada has freezing rain in the forecast for tomorrow, resulting in a few milimetres of ice buildup. It should turn into regular rain sometime in the afternoon.

On top of all this, Environment Canada is also predicting wind gusts between 70 and 80 kilometres per hour. Strong winds mixed with freezing rain could cause power outages.

A special weather statement has been issued for Oxford and Brant.
