A fundraising concert at Knox Church will benefit the Oxford Winds Community Concert Band.
WOODSTOCK - A fundraising concert is coming to Woodstock.
The Oxford Winds will be hosting an event on Saturday and the proceeds will help support the Oxford Winds Community Concert Band. Eugena Riehl is the founder of the band and she gives us some background information.
"It's brass, woodwinds, and percussion. We meet every week, and it is all volunteers that play. It is a non-profit charitable organization so if you would like to donate, we do give out tax receipts."
Riehl goes on to say what people can expect if they come to the event.
"The concert is soloists and chamber music and the profits will go to help the band."
There will also be a silent auction, along with coffee, tea and pie served at the event. The event will be at Knox Presbyterian Church and begin at 2:00 p.m.
Tickets are 25 dollars and can be purchased at Long and McQuade in Woodstock or Tillsonburg or online here.
