This week, Future Oxford announced the addition of six new members to its group of volunteer partners who are helping to advance the Future Oxford Plan.
- Sam Coghlan, Zorra Township
- Kayla Doan, Norwich Township
- Whisper Gardiner, South-West Oxford Township
- Samantha Haverkamp, Woodstock

- Al Lauzon, Ingersoll
They will join current Future Oxford members Monica Clare (Tillsonburg), Stephen Cornwell (Ingersoll), Rick Cox (Tillsonburg), Chris Kennedy (Woodstock), Bryan Smith (South-West Oxford Township) and Jeff Surridge (Woodstock).
Join Chair Bryan Smith says the response from the recruitment campaign was amazing.
"The positive response to our recruitment campaign proves community sustainability remains as important to our communities today as it did when the original Plan was released in 2015. We’re expanding on our sector and geographical representation, as well as adding members from generations that aren't currently represented. I'm inspired by the applicants joining Future Oxford and look forward to getting to know them."
Future Oxford was established six years ago with a goal of 100% renewable energy, zero waste, zero poverty, community wellbeing, supporting entrepreneurs, workforce ready businesses and people, wetlands restoration and more.
