The Elm Hurst Inn and Spa will host a special gala honouring Oxford County Crime Stoppers on October 27th.
INGERSOLL - A special celebration for Oxford Crime Stoppers will be held at the Elm Hurst Inn and Spa.
They are marking 25 years in the county during this year's Crime Stoppers Gala and Woodstock Police Constable Tyler Allard says this is a major fundraiser for the organization.
"Because Crime Stoppers is a non-profit organization all of the money we raise goes back into the program and goes to such things obviously the awards we give to people."
Cocktails will be served at 6 p.m. with dinner to follow at 7 p.m. Allard says they also have many items generously donated by community partners.
"At 6 o'clock we have a silent auction as well as a live auction, so that will give people the opportunity to look at some of the silent auction prizes."
Tickets for the October 27th event are $100 per person, or $750 for a full table of 8. A charitable receipt is available for a portion of the ticket price.
Tickets can be purchased by calling Jan at 519-421-6989 or emailing hauck@oxford.net
