Environment Canada is calling for seasonal temperatures in the high teens and cloudy skies on all three days of the Long Weekend.
OXFORD COUNTY - The weather forecast for the long weekend is looking good but not great.
Environment Canada is calling for seasonal temperatures in the high teens and cloudy skies on all three days. Meteorologist Marie-Eve Giguere says it should be a good weekend.
"We are looking at seasonal temperatures, nothing too cold, but nothing to warm either. Around 20 degree's during the daytime if we are lucky. There will be isolated rain showers here and there but mostly dry during the day time. It is possible we could get some thunderstorm activity on Sunday afternoon but other than that, fairly dry seasonal temperatures."
Giguere adds it should be a good weekend to plant your garden with no signs of frost in the near future.
"So far, I don't see anything that cold in the forecast, but it is not out of the question, we are not out of the woods yet, summer has not arrived."
Giguere says the long term forecast does not show any major weather patterns with no cold snaps or heat waves in the foreseeable future.
