After 10 years, the annual Gord Marshall Women's Fastball Tournament not only hit but surpassed the 100-thousand dollar mark. This year's tourney raised $17,800 bringing their 10-year total to $110,000. Unfortunately, the semi finals and finals were washed out due to the unsportsmanlike weather conditions. The Tier 1 semi finals were cancelled due to rain. In Tier 2 play, the semis wrapped up with the Hamilton Hurricanes and Windsor Zlancers facing off for the championships. Since mother nature did not cooperate, organizers determined the Hurricanes and Zlancers co-champions.
