A real life grinch was going around stealing Christmas presents on Young Street in Innerkip this morning.
INNERKIP - The Grinch is alive an well in Innerkip.
Police have been called after a man was caught stealing items from the curb on Young Street in Innerkip this morning. The items had been left as gifts to the garbage collection employees. The man was actually approached by a resident in the area. He told them he worked for the Township and was confiscating the alcohol because the garbage delivery people are not allowed to have them in their trucks. The man also took several other gifts that were not alcohol related and the Township has confirmed that nobody was authorized to do that this morning. He was also taking pictures of the houses that he was stealing gifts from.
The suspect is described as being in his early 50's, husky and is balding. He was driving a Burgandy Dodge Ram pickup truck with dealer plates.
