Chilly Charlie will let us know if we'll have an early Spring this year.
WOODSTOCK - Woodstock's Chilly Charlie is making an appearance at the South Gate Centre.
The Chilly Charlie Breakfast & Prognostication will be happening tomorrow at the South Gate Centre.
Executive Director of the South Gate Centre Chris Cunningham says the local groundhog is set to make an appearance and give his prediction on the weather.
"Charlie and the platform team will be deciding whether or not spring will be coming early this year, or if we're in for another six weeks of winter. So that's what this is all about."
The local groundhog will give his prediction, meeting outside behind the South Gate Centre just after 8:00 am.
Prior to that, there will be breakfast available, which will include pancake and sausages.
Cunningham says it's a fun event that everyone is welcome to attend.
"The great thing about this is it's all in fun. So we do have a life-size groundhog, as I say, a resident of Woodstock, and it's in fun. Come on out, have a great time, have a few laughs, enjoy yourselves, meet your neighbours, invite your family and come for breakfast at South Gate Centre."
Breakfast is just $5.00 and children under 5 years-old are free.
