Local police officer pleads guilty to weapons charges.
An Oxford OPP officer has pleaded guilty to owning firearms and ammunition without a license.
Constable Timothy Healy entered the guilty plea to all five counts he faced today.
Fellow officers seized the weapons for Healy's home after investigating a domestic incident at his home in March of 2012. Some of the firearms the officer owned were not registered in his name.
Healy will be sentenced February 10th, and will also face a Police Services Act hearing where he could face discipline as a police officer.
