UPDATE: Harris Street in Ingersoll, New Durham Road in Norwich and Curry Road in SWOX are all flooded right now after the region was hit with 25 mm of rain last night.
OXFORD COUNTY - The Town of Ingersoll is warning the public about a flooded road at Harris Street, just Southeast of Chamberlain Avenue.
The road is closed as water is on the road and there is a risk of hydroplaning. Other streets flooded right now in Oxford County include New Durham Road west of 2nd Road in Norwich and Curry Road from Southwest of Plank Line to Northeast of Harris Line in SWOX.
Meanwhile in Blandford-Blenheim, the following roads are flooded right now:
Blenheim Road from Township Road 10 to Township Road 11; Township Road 10 from Blenheim Road to Oxford Road 3; Township Road 11 from Trussler Road to Blenheim Road; Township Road 4 from Township Road 5 to Brant Oxford Road; Blenheim Road 513m North of Township Road 12: Hofstetter Road at Township Road 12; & Township Road 3 from Gobles Road to Oxford Road 22.
According to Environment Canada we got 25 mm of rain last night with more precipitation coming today. The rain will eventually turn to ice pellets and then snow this afternoon and early evening.
Water is also on the south bound lane of plank line south of Chamberlain. Use caution when travelling today.
