Graham Hart says it's time for him to take a step back from the Thames Valley District School Board so someone else can step forward.
OXFORD COUNTY - A new face will have to represent Oxford County on the Thames Valley District School Board.
Graham Hart says he will not be running for re-election as our local trustee this fall.
"I've been the trustee representing Oxford since Thames Valley was formed in 1998. I did spend a couple of terms before that with the Oxford County Board of Education as well."
He says it's time for him to take a step back so someone else can put their name forward.
"I've enjoyed my time with the Thames Valley District School Board. I think I have put in sufficient time with the board and I've had some major accomplishments that I wanted to achieve."
Hart is looking forward to enjoying retirement, but he is going to continuing working as President of the Woodstock Rotary Club.
The municipal election will take place on October 24th.
