McCain Foods voluntarily recalls the product over potential plastic contamination
McCain Foods is recalling their hash browns due to possible plastic contamination.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency says the products should not be consumed though there have been no reported injuries associated with eating the hash browns.
The recall applies to Hash browns in the 900 g bags with the lot code F40822 and the batch code 1000879725.
Anyone with the bags are encouraged to throw them out or return them to the store they bought them from.
