Whether it was smashing ice windows or playing hockey, people in the region found some creative ways to have fun yesterday.
While most of us tried to stay dry but not falling on the ice yesterday, some people in Southwestern Ontario had a little bit of fun.
Smashing the glass from your vehicles became a trend on twitter. OPP Constable Ed Sanchuk had over 1,000 likes and nearly 400 retweets for his video to illustrate the importance of clearing all of the snow and ice from your vehicle.
Be safe, be smart. Make sure YOU clear off all the windows on your vehicle. If you can't see it, how are you going to avoid it. #DriveSafe #NorfolkOPP ^es pic.twitter.com/A70nx6pfAc

Sanchuk of course was not a lone as people took to social media to share their creative ways of enjoying the ice storm. Some people even went so far as to use their head.
This tweet could become a heritage minute in the future.

Of course smashing glass was just part of the fun yesterday. CTV shared a great video of a kid from Woodstock strapping on the skates and taking road hockey to a whole other level.
Check this out: Thank you to Amy & Rod Yallup from Woodstock for this awesome video. Check out their son Ashton skating down the street today. Freezing rain warnings continue in Oxford county. @CTVLondon pic.twitter.com/qLVp5hwSih
