OXFORD COUNTY - Southwestern Public Health has issued a heat warning for Oxford County.
Environment Canada released a forecast for this week expecting to see temperatures of 31 degrees Celsius, 40 with the humidex.
Southwestern Public Health is advising that during the warning you avoid being outdoors and seek shelter in places with air-conditioning.
Additional safety measures you can take are staying hydrated, taking cool showers, applying SPF 30 or higher sunscreen before heading outdoors, and checking on those vulnerable to the heat.
