We should have little relief from the heat today, but the heat warning will likely remain in effect through the weekend.
OXFORD/BRANT - We're still under a heat warning in Oxford and Brant, and it looks like it's going to continue through the weekend.
Environment Canada says we can expect daytime highs between 29 to 31 on Saturday and Sunday, but it should feel more like to 37 to 42 with the humidity. We also have a low of about 20 to 23 degrees in the forecast for Saturday night.
We should have little relief from the heat today. Environment Canada is predicting a high of 28 with a humidex value of 37 and an overnight low of 19 for tonight.
Make sure you drink lots of water and stay in a cool place whenever possible. Extreme heat affects everyone, but the risks are greater for young children, pregnant women, people with chronic illnesses and those who work outside.
