The Helping Hands Food bank in Tillsonburg wants to make sure every child in our community has a tasty snack in their back to school lunches.
TILLSONBURG - With kids set to head back to school in a couple of weeks, the Helping Hands Food Bank in Tillsonburg is looking for snacks.
They're specifically asking for non perishables such as Ritz sandwiches, Goldfish crackers in the small pouches, Fruitsensations, Jello Cups, Potato Chip snacks and Fruit Cups. These donations will help kids in the community ensure they have a tasty treat for their school lunches.
Donations are accepted every Tuesday and Wednesday morning at 55A Broadway rear door.
The Food Bank provided a great explanation for why snack foods are important for child's nutrition.
