The United Way brings back the Holiday Sharing Guide to help those in need in our community.
WOODSTOCK - The 8th annual United Way Holiday Sharing Guide is back to help those in need.
The successful Holiday Sharing Guide is a collaboration of local and provincial organizations such as; Oxford County, Information Oxford, 211 Ontario and the United Way Oxford. The guide contains an organized list of clothing, food, gift drives, food programs, and more going on in the Friendly City. Executive Director at United Way Oxford, Kelly Gilson has more on the guide.
"It is really about getting help and giving help. There are lots of people in our community that are in a position where they would want to volunteer, donate or participate. It really tries to cover both sides of the board and for people to learn what's available."
Gilson also says.
"Programs going on in the community let anyone drop in and help however, there are those other programs where you need to register. And the guide gives people in our community that opportunity."
If your interested in checking out the Holiday Sharing Guide, you can call 211, or by visiting www.informationoxford.ca or The United Way.
