An Oxford County man is accused of sexually assaulting two people under the age of 16 and forcible confinement.
BLANDFORD BLEINHAM - A 64 year old man from Oxford County is facing several charges after police wrapped up a historical sexual assault investigation.
According to police the assaults date back to 2000 and were conducted over a 10 year period. Two victims came forward with the allegations recently which led to the investigation.
OPP have charged a male of Blandford-Blenheim under the Criminal Code of Canada with the following:
Sexual Assault on a Person Under 16 years of age (10 counts)
Sexual Interference with a Person Under 16 years of age (10 counts)
Invitation to Sexual Touching Under 16 years of age (4 counts)
Forcible Confinement
His name has been withheld to protect the identities of the two victims. The male was remanded into custody for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Woodstock.
