Woodstock Police are investigating a hit and run incident in the James Street and Springbank Ave area of the city this week.
WOODSTOCK -- An investigation into a hit and run accident in Woodstock on Wednesday has failed to turn up the suspect vehicle involved.
Woodstock Police are on the look-out for a late 90's silver Oldsmobile Alero following a hit and run on James Street, near Springbank Ave.
The incident happened Wednesday around 3:00pm when an SUV pulling a trailer was reversing out the scrap metal yard located at the intersection.
Police say while two northbound vehicles on Springbank stopped, a silver Oldsmobile Alero drove around both stopped vehicles and struck the vehicle and trailer.
The Alero then fled the scene westbound onto James Street.
The driver of the Alero is described as a younger female with blond hair.
Woodstock Police are asking anyone with info to contact them at (519) 537-2323 or Crime Stoppers at 519-421-TIPS.
