Police say three men armed with handguns stormed the home on King Street last night around 10:30.
DELHI - Norfolk OPP are investigating a home invasion in Delhi.
Police say three black men armed with handguns stormed the home on King Street last night around 10:30. Once inside, they assaulted the person inside, who was able to flee next door to a neighbours and call police. Police did not provide a description of the suspects, other than their skin colour.
All three suspects then fled to a silver or grey coloured van which then left the area in an unknown direction.
There is no threat to public safety however police are reminding all members of the public to be aware of their personal safety at all times and to be extremely vigilant when any stranger arrives at your home. The OPP's website, www.opp.ca, contains a number of useful resources, tips and links.
